The company launched in 2014 and was an instant success! Many competitors followed and the question is, how does it compare now in 2023.

Let’s dive head first by first reviewing how much ClickFunnels cost and what plans you can get access to:

ClickFunnels Basic

This is the package most people will use and includes the core features ClickFunnels offers.

It costs $80 per month billed annually or $97 billed monthly.

If you’re just interested in using ClickFunnels for the funnel side of things, then this should be enough!

As a side note, FunnelFlix is ClickFunnels training platform which gives you access to a bunch of online courses to help you build a successful funnel.

The 20k monthly visits is high unless you have a big audience or driving paid traffic to your funnel.

ClickFunnels Platinum

This is for users that prefer to use ClickFunnels for other parts of their business as well.

It costs $247 per month billed annually or $297 billed monthly.

What you get is :

Beyond the increase in allowance for things like funnels, pages, monthly visits,etc. there are a few more things to be aware of.

The first one is the Follow-Up Funnel feature.

This is essentially access to ClickFunnels email marketing feature and all of the automation you can set up to run marketing campaigns with your leads.

Keep in mind that you’ll still need to pay for an SMTP provider, which may add another $40-$50 to your inbox.

This is why most ClickFunnels users actually prefer to integrate a 3rd party email marketing system like ActiveCampaign or ConvertKit.

This package also gives you access to Backpack which is ClickFunnels affiliate management system - which can only work if you're using the native checkouts.

Kajabi is also widely recognized as one of the top platforms for online businesses.

The major difference between the two is that Kajabi is an all-in-one platform and provides an email marketing, course builder on all its plans.

That being said let’s look at its pricing:

Kajabi offers a 30 days trial (partner-deal only!) and 3 plans:

• Basic Plan – $149/month ($119/mo paid annually)
• Growth Plan – $199/month ($159/mo paid annually)
• Pro Plan – $399/month ($319/mo paid annually)

Kajabi is a little pricier than ClickFunnel’s Basic plan but does provide a lot more features.

Even the Platinum plan is not exactly stacking as many tools as Kajabi is, but maybe you’re not looking for “more” and simply for “just enough”

There is no doubt the actual funnel building feature of ClickFunnels is superior.

How does ClickFunnel’s Pricing compare to Systeme.io?

ClickFunnels and Systeme.io are often compared as they bear a very obvious resemblance.

They’re both focused on a funnel-first approach and offer a range of tools to help you sell any product you’d want online.

Systeme.io do stand out by its very affordable price and offers the best free plan in the industry:

On top of its free account, Systeme.io has 3 other plans:

The platform also offers a few more tools and whistles than ClickFunnels.

How does ClickFunnel’s Pricing compare to Kartra?

Kartra is another prominent contender in the online course platform space.

Just like Kajabi, Kartra is an all-in-one platform and provides much more than a funnel builder.

It also doesn’t only cater to online course creators but more generally to online businesses, regardless what they sell.

Kartra’s entry package kind of looks like ClickFunnel, except that it includes email marketing and video hosting (another thing that ClickFunnels doesn’t provide).

Most users will be on the Silver plan with everything unlimited.

Q: What do you really think about ClickFunnels pricing?

I think that ClickFunnels came out in 2014 and took the industry by storm, and at the time was unique and still affordable.

With the increased competition however the deal has changed a little in appeal…

ClickFunnels is still the #1 top of mind platform and just does what you need, but I would recommend checking out the other platforms we’ve mentioned before making a final decision.

Q: What’s the best plan for me?

The basic plan is best for most people.

You can integrate a 3rd party email platform to cover those needs.

Upgrading to platinum would only really be necessary for users that need the affiliate system.

Q: What other costs do I need to think about

There are a few to consider:

• Buying a custom domain: usually around $7 per year
• Email marketing system: this is a must for online business and costs around $40 per month depending on your list size.
• Video hosting: This is about $20 per month with Vimeo or Wistia

Adding these up still doesn’t justify the price of the Platinum plan, hence why we recommend staying on the Basic one!
