At a glance, it seems as if all webinar platforms such as Demio look the same.

Is their pricing the only difference between them?

In this review we’re looking in more depth how Demio’s pricing compares to other competitors.

First, let’s break down exactly how Demio is priced as this may seem confusing.

Demio Pricing Overview

One of the main things to understand is that Demio, very much like other webinar platforms, is mostly priced based around one thing: the live attendees limit.

These platform’s biggest cost is the hosting of your live event and the more people tune in the more “power” they need to run your event.

First, know that you can get started on Demio for a 14 days trial which will have a limit of 20 attendees and a 1-hour session.

The paid plans are:

  • Starter Plan – $59/month (or save 30% paying yearly at $42/month)
  • Growth Plan – From $109/month (or $75/month paid yearly)
  • Premium Plan – From $184/month paid yearly (no monthly plan available)

But the most important thing again to understand is that these prices will vary depending on the attendee limit you need on the Growth and Premium plans.

So let’s break this down further keeping this in mind:

Growth (billed yearly):

  • 150 Attendees: $75/month
  • 500 Attendees: $184/month
  • 1,000 Attendees: $284/month
  • 3,000 Attendees: $567/month

Premium (billed yearly):

  • 150 Attendees: $184/month
  • 500 Attendees: $275/month
  • 1,000 Attendees: $367/month
  • 3,000 Attendees: $734/month

This might be a bit confusing but the first step is simply to identify which plan might be best for you.

Note that automated/evergreen webinars are only available from the Growth plan onwards.

And the main reason to upgrade to the Premium plan is only if you plan on running a great volume of events or need advanced integrations (SSO, Hubspot, Salesforce, Marketo, & Pardot).

Then, simply guess-timate how many attendees you think you’ll get - you can start low and upgrade later.

And that should give you a good idea for what specific plan you need here.

How Does Demio Pricing Compare?

Now that we’re able to navigate Demio’s pricing plans, let's put them in perspective with its 3 main competitors in the industry.

Demio Vs WebinarJam Pricing

WebinarJam might be the most recognized name in the webinar platform industry.

And its pricing is a bit more straightforward than Demio.

Note that you get started for a $1 for 14 day trial. Or with any plan with the 30 day money-back guarantee.

WebinarJam Pricing

The plans here are:

  • Starter Plan – $49/month >>> 100 Attendees
  • Basic Plan – $99/month >>> 500 Attendees
  • Professional Plan – $299/month >>> 2000 Attendees
  • Enterprise Plan – $499/month >>> 5000 Attendees

Most people will probably get the Basic plan which for 500 attendees does look more interesting than the equivalent for Demio.

Which is worth noting, although it’s not quite an apple to apple comparison.

There are quite a few differences of features between the two platforms so you might want to read more about WebinarJam to understand these.

Demio Vs EasyWebinar Pricing

EasyWebinar is also a top competitor, and also prices things a bit differently…

It’s one of the only platforms to offer a Free tier (with 10 attendees and 30-minute webinars).

Then you can choose among 3 plans:

EasyWebinar Pricing

Here are the ones that you should consider:

  • Standard Plan – $66/month billed yearly - 100 attendees
  • Pro Plan – $164/month billed yearly - 500 attendees

Each plan has a base number of attendees but you can increase this limit for any plan with an Add-on.

This costs $78/month for an additional 100 live webinar attendees.

Overall EasyWebinar is roughly the same price as Demio if compared side by side so it really comes down to the few unique features you might prefer in one or the other.

Demio Vs GoToWebinar Pricing

GoToWebinar is a little less of a direct competitor to Demio since it caters mostly to corporations.

But it can still be used by course creators all the same so it’s good to compare here.

The platform has a 7 days free trial to get you started.

GoToWebinar Pricing

It’s paid plans and associated attendees limit are:

  • Lite Plan – $49/month billed yearly - 250 attendees
  • Standard Plan – $99/month billed yearly - 500 attendees
  • Pro Plan – $199/month billed yearly - 1,000 attendees
  • Enterprise Plan – $399/month billed yearly - 3,000 attendees

At first glance, GoToWebinar may seem to be somewhat cheaper than Demio.

But it’s worth keeping in mind that the platform doesn't quite compare with the same features.

For instance GoToWebinar isn’t really suited to run automated webinars.

But if you’re only looking to run live events then it would be worth checking it out.

Demio Pricing FAQs

Do I need to enter a credit card to try the platform?

You don’t need to enter a credit card for the 14 day free trial.

Does Demio help with video hosting?

The limit on these is up to 5GB.

You’ll also be able to upload the different handouts and resources you wish to display for your attendees.

Can Live Webinars on Demio be broadcasted on other platforms?

Demio doesn’t have a native tool that allows you to automatically broadcast live on social media platforms like YouTube or Facebook.
