Kajabi has long stood as a leader in the all-in-one platform space for online creators, offering a single solution for building, marketing, and selling digital products without the need for a web of external tools.
But in an industry that moves at a breakneck pace, staying ahead means continuously evolving.
This is where Kajabi Evolved, the company’s major September 2025 update, comes in.
What Is Kajabi Evolved About?
Kajabi Evolved is about solidifying the platform’s promise as a true all-in-one solution.

For example, to offer a free course preview before was cumbersome, requiring a separate product to be created for the preview, which ate into the limited product allowance on lower-tier plans.
This update is designed to make the platform self-sufficient by bringing more functionality directly under one roof. It’s about building a better, faster, and smarter ecosystem.
Kajabi Evolved is a comprehensive solution that combines a suite of powerful new features with a refined platform experience. This also came with the introduction of a new pricing structure designed to support the platform’s future growth and innovation.
The goal is to provide a unified business intelligence tool that helps creators scale their business with greater efficiency.
What New Features Kajabi Has
The list of new features announced as part of Kajabi Evolved is extensive and reflects a deep understanding of what modern creators need.
These enhancements span across content creation, marketing, community management, and business intelligence.
1. A New Course Paywall
The new course paywall is a highly requested and impactful feature that transforms how creators offer free course content.
Previously, to give away a free module as a lead magnet, creators had to build a separate "free product" and a full "paid product".
This was a cumbersome process that consumed one of the limited product slots on Kajabi’s Basic plan.
Now, creators can simply mark a portion of their course as a "free preview". Anything above a designated paywall section is free to view, while anything below is locked and can only be accessed after a user purchases the full offer.

This is a major perk, as it simplifies product management and does not count as an extra product towards a creator’s plan quota.
The new feature creates a seamless upsell path, a frictionless way to capture leads, and helps maintain accurate progress tracking for users.
2. Visual Automations
Kajabi’s automations have always been a key feature, but Kajabi Evolved introduces a new visual builder.
This feature allows creators to build and visualize their marketing campaigns with a branching logic on an infinite canvas, much like you would on a CRM system.

This upgrade moves away from a text-based system to a more intuitive, graphical workflow builder that makes it easier to create complex, multi-step sequences.
The new visual automations tool comes with pre-made automation blueprints to help creators get started quickly and efficiently.
3. Enhanced Coaching and Community
Kajabi has significantly upgraded its native community and coaching tools to compete with external platforms.
The new community experience includes a revamped design and a host of new features aimed at boosting engagement.
Creators can now host "Meetups" for virtual events, "Live Rooms" for spontaneous live sessions, and "Challenges" to encourage member participation.

The new community functionality also integrates directly with your courses and offers, allowing for "in-context offers" for a more cohesive user experience and upsells.
Kajabi has also polished its coaching experiences with a fully customizable coaching portal, in-context upsells, and coaching-specific automations.
A unified mobile app brings courses, coaching, podcasts, and communities into one centralized location for a better user experience.
4. Redesigned Checkout Pages
Reducing friction at the checkout is crucial for increasing conversions. Kajabi Evolved introduces customizable checkout pages that are designed to put more money in creators' pockets.

You can also now display more than 1 price (or tier) on the same checkout page and allow the user to easily switch from one to another.
The enhanced checkout pages are fully redesigned to reduce drop-offs and provide a better, more streamlined experience for customers.
This is a significant improvement over previous versions, which had more limited customization options.
5. Universal Inbox
For creators who rely on social media for engagement and sales, the new universal inbox is a game-changer.
This feature connects DMs from platforms like Facebook and Instagram directly to the creator's Kajabi dashboard, creating a centralized communication hub.
This means creators no longer have to manage conversations across multiple platforms, saving time and ensuring they never miss a lead or a customer support request.
Note that this feature is only available from the Growth plan onward.
6. AI-Powered Tools & New Builder
Kajabi has infused AI into the platform to automate and simplify content creation. The update includes tools for creating automatic video captions and AI translations, making content more accessible to a global audience.

The "new Kajabi Builder" and "Creator Studio" are also part of this push, helping creators generate content for blogs, websites, and marketing campaigns with a few clicks.
Kajabi Price Changes
The rollout of these new features is accompanied by a significant change to Kajabi’s pricing model.
It’s important for creators to understand the new plans and what they mean for their business.

The new Kajabi plans and their monthly costs (when billed annually) are as follows:
Kickstarter: $71/month. This plan is designed for new creators who need the foundations to start their business. It includes a single product and community, and limited contacts and emails.
Basic: $143/month. This plan is a solid choice for a growing business, now offering 5 products, three funnels, and increased contact limits. It is also the lowest tier that gives access to Kajabi’s AI features and Creator Studio.
Growth: $199/month. This is Kajabi’s most popular option and is designed for businesses ready to scale. It offers 50 products and unlocks key features like advanced automations, an affiliate program, and custom branding.
Pro: $399/month. The Pro plan is for large-scale operations, providing unlimited products, 3 websites, and a massive 100,000-contact limit. It includes everything from the Growth plan, plus access to a custom code editor for advanced users.
For existing customers, the new pricing takes effect on January 13, 2026, giving them time to decide whether to migrate to a new plan.
Kajabi has stated that migrating to a new plan will unlock some exclusive features, such as Cohort Courses and API access, which are not available on legacy plans. This provides a clear incentive for existing users to make the switch.
Kajabi's justification for the price increase is that it has not changed its pricing in nearly a decade, and the new costs are necessary to "continue delivering the reliable, high-quality platform" and to support the new features and infrastructure.
While the new prices are higher than some competitors, Kajabi argues that its all-in-one model saves creators money by eliminating the need for separate subscriptions for email marketing, websites, funnels, and more. It's a trade-off: a higher single cost for a more integrated, streamlined, and powerful platform.
