passion.io pricing

Passion.io has been growing exponentially in popularity in the past few years with its very unique platform specifically designed for mobile apps.

And understanding exactly how much you will pay and what other expenses you may need to consider is important before jumping right in.

Today we break this down in layman’s terms and also look at how Passion.io pricing compares to other competitors in the industry.

Passion.io Pricing Overview

The very first thing to understand is that Passion.io does not offer a free trial like most other platforms we review do.

That’s mostly understood because of the cost of pushing your custom mobile app on the iOS and Google Play store.

That being said, you do have a 30 days money back guarantee, which still allows you to get started with Passion.io risk-free.

But here are the different plans you’ll have available:

Here is the breakdown of what you get on each plan and the relevant pricing:

  • Pro: $79 monthly - billed yearly (or $97 per month)
  • Ultimate: $239 monthly - billed yearly (or $297 per month)
  • Ultimate Plus: pricing depends on needs

The only difference between the Pro and Ultimate plans is the following:

  • You will be able to send push in notifications and broadcasts on the Ultimate plan
  • You can also drip your content and create automations
  • You can fully remove the Passion.io branding to make the app fully yours
  • You also get unlimited users and videos (this is capped to 100 on the Pro plan)

The Ultimate Plus plan is only for special requirements and done for you services if you need it.

How Does Passion.io Compare with Competitors?

Now that we understand a bit better what you get for your money on Passion.io, let’s compare that to other platforms.

We’ve selected a few of the biggest competitors and players in the industry for comparison:

How Does Passion.io compare to Kajabi?

Kajabi is one of the most popular platforms for course creators and also offers a mobile app.

Now, Kajabi has a lot more features on its Desktop version which is meant to be used more than on mobile…

But it’s still interesting to compare so let’s look at their pricing:

Here is the summary:

  • Basic Plan – $149/month ($119/mo paid annually)
  • Growth Plan – $199/month ($159/mo paid annually)
  • Pro Plan – $399/month ($319/mo paid annually)

Overall, Kajabi seems a little pricier but you have to take into account everything else you’re getting beside the mobile app.

Which includes vital features such as funnel builder, email marketing, etc.

How Does Passion.io compare to Teachable?

Teachable is another big platform with a large following that offers a mobile app to all its users.

It’s an interesting comparison to Passion.io because the platform provides the minimum to course creators to get started at an affordable price.

There is a free account you can use to get started:

  • Basic – $39/month billed annually (or $59 paid monthly)
  • Pro – $119/month billed annually(or $159 paid monthly)
  • Pro+ – $199/month billed annually (or $249 paid monthly)

Even if Teachable is not a mobile-first platform, it offers a slightly more affordable option to offer a mobile app.

But understand that there is very little you can customize about your app on Teachable…

There is also no way to make it fully custom branded, which is one of the main advantages of Passion.io

How Does Passion.io compare to Uscreen?

Uscreen has also optimized its platform for mobile and other screens use.

On top of that it offers a live streaming option for live classes and coaching sessions.

They offer a 14 days free trial and the following plans:

Uscreen Pricing Breakdown

Here is the pricing plans breakdown:

  • Growth: $149/month billed yearly (or $199 monthly)
  • Pro: $499/month billed yearly (or $599 monthly)

This is a big gap and price difference but Uscreen provides a lot of features if you specifically are interested in running live sessions.

It essentially allows you to build the Netflix of your own industry!
