AttractWell

AttractWell launched in 2015 and has grown in popularity over the years.

It’s now a mature all-in-one platform built mainly for online course creators and coaches.

That being said you could sell any type of product and it could also be a good fit for other online businesses.

As we’ll explore in this review, the platform does have a unique mix of features that makes it stand out in the industry.

It also promises to be a one-stop-shop for all of your online tool needs at a reasonable price.

Let’s break it down and see what AttractWell offers exactly and how it compares.

Being an all-in-one platform means that the platform must provide pretty much everything an online business needs.

And replace all the patchwork of tools that are often used together to accomplish what they have in mind…

On paper AttractWell does deliver on covering all of these features of which here is an overview:

We’ll now break down the most important of these features to see exactly what AttractWell offers and if it does deliver on the all-in-one promise.

Website & Page Building

The first and most important feature for most platforms when it comes to marketing your products is the website and funnel builder.

AttractWell allows you to build as many websites, landing and funnel pages as you want.

The page builder is a front-end visual builder that can be used with no coding knowledge.

You can also start from one of the many templates available:

These are available for both the whole page or specific section (Hero, CTA, About, Pricing, etc.).

But if you don't want to build the page from a template but instead from a page on another site you like, you can use the "create page from another site option."

This lets you simply enter a URL and the page builder will detect and populate these section and make them editable.

Alternatively you can also buld or make update using voice.

The page builder itself can be a little limited at times however. It works mostly in blocks and is more rigid than what most other platforms offer.

That being said there are several interesting customization options to still be able to create well designed pages but overall it fairs relatively average.

We do like the global elements like the Header and Footer and the wealth of options in things like fonts, custom coding and AI writing helper.

You can also easily create blog posts to integrate to your website.

As far as funnel building capabilities, you’ll have everything you need with robust Form building, tagging and automation (more on that later).

Online Course & Membership

AttractWell offers different ways for you to deliver on your online programs and products.

And it’s refreshingly easy and flexible to do it on the platform.

First you can of course build an online course with a curriculum builder, the way most platforms allow for.

You can simply create Modules and Lessons with text, videos, downloadable,etc.

Lessons can be dripped over time or accessible only on approval or homework upload verification.

Note here that although video hosting is supported and included in your AttractWell account, the storage limit depends on your plan (see our pricing section).

One thing that’s missing however is the ability to create any sort of learning tools like quizzes, assessment or certificate.

These usually help create a better learning experience overall.

Something else to note is that you have no control over the layout of the course and limited branding and design.

Really the only thing you can change is some of the text that appears in the member’s area and color scheme. Several other competitors are more flexible on that end.

Now, in AtractWell, the way you create a product is by creating Vault, which are essentially containers for all of the content/courses/membership you want to give access to.

On top of Online Courses, you can also give access to member-only pages and create a real membership website that way with gated content.

You can also give access to Coaching and Calls packages if that’s something you offer.

This will only have a native way for clients to book time with you and this will create Zoom links automatically for your call.

If you want to run group calls, this can also be done using the same Zoom integration. You don't need to pay for your own Zoom account for this to work.

The last thing you can give access to are Community groups, which are a place for your members to interact with each other:

These are very limited and look more like old school forums but can still be a good value-add to your offer.

Checkout & Payment

AttractWell also enables you to take payment for your online products.

The only payment gateway available and that you’ll have to integrate is Stripe.

Note that there is no additional transaction fee that the platform collects other than what Stripe will charge.

You can set up pricing for your Vaults:

The pricing options are fairly flexible here with one time payment, subscription or payment plans.

You can choose among all the major currencies to charge in.

Here again however we have a lack of customization when it comes to the checkout design.

All you can really do is add a checkout message/copy:

Another thing to note is that AttractWell does not offer an affiliate program feature.

So you can’t give someone a commission for referring a new student.

Emails, SMS & Automation

Another core component of an online course platform is its email marketing tool.

This is handled natively in AttractWell allowing you to either send one-off emails or set up automated campaigns.

Campaigns are a set of predetermined emails, triggered by an action: adding a tag, form submission, course enrollment,etc.

The email builder itself is fairly intuitive and also a drag and drop.

And as with many parts of the platform you can also edit with voice.

You can however re-use emails in just a few clicks with the Saved Replies.

Similar thing for the campaign with a very basic flow and limited automation compared to a specialist CRM platform for instance.

That being said, note that you get unlimited emails on all plans of AttractWell.

The only allowance limit is on Contacts (see pricing section).

Another way to engage with your leads and customers is the SMS system that’s included in the platform.

This is worth mentioning because most other competitors will have you integrate a third party like Twilio to access this feature (with the extra spend that comes with it - ~$90/month).

AttractWell gives you from 1,000 texts per month up to 4,000 depending on your plan.

You can set text-in campaign to start based on a keyword people text you (eg. text “TRUTH” at XXX number).

This can also be a two-way text conversation with leads to respond and manage these SMS conversations directly from the platform (or the mobile app).

This feature is fairly unique especially at this price point and can be a great marketing tool for your campaigns.

It can be used for reminders for live events or timely promotions too.

Beyond the core features we’ve reviewed so far, let’s mention here a few more tools you’ll get in AttractWell that are worth mentioning:

eCommerce: This enables you to have a more traditional ecommerce site with “add to cart” and digital or physical products to sell in your store.

Checkout can calculate shipping and taxes to collect.

Mobile App: This is a centralized app for all AttactWell customers and for their students to access their courses from. Note that this isn’t going to be branded for you but is a great value add for your users to get their content on the go.

Content Library: Uploading content to such a platform can get messy but AttractWell has a great Library section where you can organize your files, videos, images and content.

Multiple custom domains: Attractwell allows for multiple custom domain connection and management.

AttractWell offers a lot of features and it’s hard not to feel like the platform is a little too crowded.

Although menus are relatively tidy, there are just too many things to click on or unfold at times and this can make it a bit of a frustrating experience.

Of course all of this can be made easier with time as you wrap your head around the platform.

It doesn’t take away from some of the well thought out features we’ve mentioned but can make it hard to customize.

The overall design and feel, including things like icons and drop down menu, feel a little clunky.

Especially compared to its biggest competitors.

We’ve described the type of customization possible and not possible for the end users (your student), although these come out fairly well out of the box.

AttractWell has a lot to offer and this usually comes with a price tag.

But its pricing is actually very competitive.

First, note that there is no free trial but you can start for 30 days at $1 - you will have to enter a credit card.

There is also a very basic entry plan at $39/month, but to get access to everything the platform offer you’ll have the choice between the following:

You get access to all features on any of these plans but of course the main difference is the limit and allowance you get.

Most people will probably land on the Premium package, mostly because of the contact limit on Basic which is only 1,000.

Another reason to upgrade might be the Vault limit and essentially how many products you can offer, or maybe the video limit if you have very long courses for instance.

The only other fee to consider might be the extra credits for SMS texting.

But overall AttractWell is a great value considering the features it offers and other all-in-one pricing.

There are a lot of articles in the help section of the platform to help you understand most of its features and how to use them.

But you can also get in touch with the support or join one of the many training and live calls that are happening on a weekly basis.

Another place to find this could be the official Facebook group with around 2,000 fellow users.

This can be a great way to share and learn from other people in the online community.
