Another very basic type of page you can build are optin pages to capture email addresses and build your list (which will save in Meleton).

Not very much you can change or design in there but it could just be enough!

If you choose to use another platform for the website/funnel side of things, which would be a great idea, you can use Meleton Widgets.

These are easy code snippets to embed a Meleton form into another site and therefore get the contact save in the platform directly.

Online Course Building

This is an area where Meleton really stands out!

The platform has a LOT of tools to make your student experience outstanding, starting with the very handy course builder:

What I love about it is how you can easily see what type of lesson you created, how long it should take for students to go through and what’s inside.

You can add as many pieces of content as you want within 1 lesson.

Everything is hosted directly by Meleton including video, audio, Presentation and any files to download.

You can also set a range of conditions for when the lesson is available and when it’s not longer accessible.

This can be standard Drip or after a certain Homework has been sent, or on a specific date - allowing you to schedule lesson publishing in the future.

Which takes us to the other part of the online course experience that makes Meleton really shine: the Homework.

As part of the course, you can add Homeworks description which will give the student the opportunity to validate their knowledge.

But the best part is that you can then have a conversation with each specific students about their homework inside the platform via a chat:

This feature is quite unique and isn’t really offered in that way by other popular online course platforms.

Email Marketing

On top of a CRM system that helps you segment and keep track of your list subscribers, Meleton offers a fully fledged email marketing feature.

The one thing that does look a bit inconvenient is that you can’t simply send a one-time email to your list easily and will have to create an automation for it.

Checkout & Payment

This part of the platform is fairly basic.

You can take payment through the platform which will be held for a few days in your account before you can claim it.

Checkout pages are automatically created for each offer and you can’t change much their design.

There is also no way to create upsells or downsells funnels.

When it comes to pricing options that you can offer to your students, you can make your course free, sell them with a one-off payment or offer a recurring subscription.

Free trials and split payments are not available.

You can however create special coupon to invite affiliates to help you promote your product and spread the word!

• Mobile app: If you’re in one of the regions the Meleton mobile app is available, your students will have access to the app so they can consume your content on the go.

Meleton is still a new platform, especially in the international market.

Which shows on the accessibility side of things and still have some parts of the platform that aren’t translated.

But apart from that, the platform is relatively intuitive and easy to pick up.

The back-end is easy on the eye and the colors give it a very polished look that makes you want to spend more time in it!

I also really like the easy way you can switch your point of view to the student side of things, which helps when trying to understand how everything works for them!

Meleton is also fast, reliable and free of technical bugs.

Meleton pricing is very straightforward.

You can get started with a 14 days free trial to get your feet wet.

After that, you’ll pay a monthly fee of $160 per month.

That price is a little bit on the more expensive side when compared to other platforms in the industry.

But keep in mind that Meleton is an all-in-one platform and that very few external tools should be needed for course creators to run their business.

Apart from that there is no sales fee or other hidden cost!
