Profi is an online coaching platform that provides an all-in-one solution to sell and deliver on your programs.

It can also be used by service providers, private practitioners or consultant businesses of any size!

The platform was founded in 2018 and is being used by 1,000’s of businesses around the world.

In this review, we’re going to break down everything you need to know about Profi and how it compares to other solutions in the industry.

Profi has a very well-rounded set of features to help service providers and coaches deliver on their programs.

Each of these features are useful, or even essential for coaches, which is what Profi always keeps in mind when developing new tools.

But let’s now break down each of these and see how they work and compare them to competitors with similar features.

Client Management

Managing your client is simplified through Profi, you’ll simply add them (bulk import are available too) and choose a stage for this person in your process:

You can then “Propose a service” to that client and they will receive your offer as well as a way to pay for the service online.

After that, they’ll be able to access the client portal with the content you’re wanting to provide or simply a booking link to schedule a session.

Note that there is no way to customize the program to a specific client or really track their progress within a service.

This can be a drawback if you’re running programs where you need to be able to track what videos have been seen for example.

You can also communicate with clients via the secured internal message system.

Online Programs & Services

As we’ve mentioned, the way to build new programs in Profi is to create Services.

There are 4 categories for these: Sessions, Group Session, Packages or Programs.

This should give you plenty of options to deliver your program however you want.

Each of these have slightly different functionalities to cater to what your client will expect.

The good news is that each of the Services will have their own sales page with some basic details and the Buy Now button.

The Individual and Group Session will allow you to set a price and variables such as session number, number of allowed participants, duration,etc.

This is also where you can choose where you want these sessions to happen and use the built-in Profi conference feature.

This is a really cool tool that not all platforms in the industry offer and will rid you of the need to use Zoom if you don’t want to.

Sessions can be started and hosted directly in the platform with a group chat and nice-looking interface.

Programs will be slightly different as these are designed to be consumed like a self-paced online course.

Create Module and add different type of content in your program: Video/reading material, Sessions, Questions:

Note that video hosting is included for these programs and you won’t have to host your video elsewhere (like Vimeo or Wistia), this is worth pointing out as most other competitors won’t take care of that for you!

You can use the Forms feature within these programs to create quizzes, assessment and other learning tools to integrate.

Overall, this online course feature is impressive and on-par with some other specialized course platforms.

The last feature to point out when it comes to your online coaching services within Profi is the booking and calendar feature.

This will allow you to set availability and send a booking link to your client, avoiding having to use external platforms like Calendly or Acuity.

The only thing lacking here, at least for some coaches, might be the ability to set Goals, Milestone and other coaching paths. But this may not be a dealbreaker for most.

Payments

Profi allows you to take payment directly through the platform by connecting your Stripe or PayPal account.

These options will then be available to your client on the checkout page.

There is no invoicing system however, but you can send a receipt after the payment has been made.

Profi doesn’t charge any transaction fees but does hold the payment for 24 hours before you can withdraw it.

Other

• Blogs: this very simple feature will allow you to create a blog and posts to build a base of free content.

This can help with your organic reach or simply serve as information about your philosophy and thoughts for your prospect to read.

This is a really cool testing feature to make sure you have all of the requirements to conduct your sessions with no technical problem.

Online coaching platforms can be busy-looking and feel overwhelming once in the back-end.

But Profi has kept a simple and intuitive user interface that should make it easier to pick up than most other platforms.

Each part of the set up process is relatively straightforward and easy to follow.

The platform is fairly quick to load anything and the soft color range is easy on the eye.

The most interesting and handy tool in Profi from a user experience standpoint, is the easy toggle at the bottom that allows you to switch to the Client view.

You’ll see that the portal your client will get access to is simple enough for them to understand on their own and shouldn’t necessitate your assistance.

Most of the main features are available from the 1st plan on, and the main reason to upgrade will be to unlock more active clients slots.

Most coaches won’t need many additional tools to run their online program using Profi.

There are no hidden charges such as transaction fees or anything, at least nothing more than what the payment gateways will take.
